SCARPA Stands for action.
SCARPA Stands is a collective set of actions, initiatives and ideas that support the purpose and principles of our business and community. We are committed to these principles and use them to help guide every decision we make and action we take. SCARPA Stands is our pledge to use our voice and resources to help support our community and protect our planet. We don't have all the answers and we have a lot to learn, but we promise that we will listen and take meaningful actions to drive positive change that is focused on the principles that have driven SCARPA for over 85 years.

We are, and always have been committed to taking care of our people and our community. We have built our culture and business around the values of Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and consider these priorities in everything we do. Now it is clear, we can do more, we can all do more!
SCARPA is 100% committed to using our resources, platform and the influence we have in the community and outdoor industry to initiate positive change through our support, action and activism. This is not a new initiative for us, it is a statement of our values and a conscious, action-based shift in how we act, think, speak, and contribute.

SCARPA is a family-owned company and it is our priority to provide a safe and equitable work environment for our people. In over 85 years of business, SCARPA has never had a company lay off or strike.
DEI Focus
DEI is now a standard part of employee development for staff, reps and athletes. SCARPA supports DEI focused businesses and associations as well.
Athlete Mentorship Initiative
SCARPA’s Athlete Mentorship Initiative has been created to connect and engage the SCARPA Athlete team with accomplished athletes from historically marginalized communities aspiring to take their sport or career to the next level.

Benefit Corporation
We are excited to announce that SCARPA is officially a Benefit Company! This is a legal status introduced in Italy in 2016 to identify those companies that, besides profit, pursue specific goals of common benefit, with the aim of generating value for people, the planet, businesses, and the productive realities of the country.
Green Manifesto
SCARPA’s Green Manifesto highlights specific examples of how SCARPA is doing more for the planet. Some great examples: Our solar panels will save 320 tons of CO2 emissions this year. Our Maestrale/Gea and Maestrale RS/Gea RS ski boots are made from 65% renewable resources. The Motijo Bio won the Outdoor Retailers Innovation award for being the first performance fully biodegradable shoe.
Planet Friendly
SCARPA is committed to continuously increasing our Planet Friendly Products and changing how we manufacture those products. We look at our products form the beginning, that is why it is important that we work with partners who are renowned for their development of sustainable materials. Throughout the site you will see our planet friendly choices in green.
