MEET THE gecko
A longtime athlete and staff favorite, the Gecko is our most technical approach shoe. The suede upper is water resistant and holds up extremely well to abrasion. The lace-to-toe closure system is super adaptable, whether you want to cinch it down for technical terrain or back it off for more casual use, it has a huge range of adjustment options depending on terrain/use. A supportive climbing platform is strategically placed directly beneath your toes for a solid, secure surface when the terrain gets technical. A rubber toe rand helps enhance climbing capabilities while also protecting the EVA from damage due to abrasion while the PRESA outsole works with the midsole to provide mechanical impact absorption, and our SuperGum high-friction rubber compound was developed to be ultra-durable. MEET THE MESCALITO PLANET
The Mescalito Planet is a sustainable, planet-friendly, premium approach shoe designed for technical hikes into remote alpine objectives. The upper features a lace-to-toe closure and is constructed from Perspire Fabric; a 1-piece, multi-density upper which contains 45% recycled fibers. PU Tek inserts are imbedded along the outsides and around the heel of the upper to increase durability and abrasion resistance while retaining breathability. The dual-density midsole contains 45% recycled material and can handle heavy loads and long approaches with ease. A full coverage, 20% recycled rubber toe rand along with a Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with a climbing zone provide ultimate friction for when approaches get more scrambly. The Mescalito Planet is the ultimate combination of durability and lightweight performance in a sustainable package.

Rubber Rand: A sticky rubber toe rand provides excellent grip when the going gets technical. Made from 20% recycled rubber from production waste.

PRESPAIR® FABRIC
Perspair® is an engineered fabric with different functional zones and fibers woven into a one-piece upper, containing 45% recycled content. The Mescalito Planet also utilizes PU Tek fibers around the heel of the shoe. These are polyurethane fibers woven into the the Perspair® fabric in crucial areas of the shoe which negates the need for a rubber or TPU rand, and helps retain the highly breathability.

Our best selling approach shoe, the Crux has earned its market leading reputation over the years by being a no-nonsence do-it-all model that is super versatile. The suede upper is durable and supportive, and features an extended rubber toe rand for extra protection and friction. The Vibram outsole features sticky MegaGrip rubber and a climbing zone for outstanding performance on rock. To-the-toe lacing allows for great fit versatility, from more technical to more Casula use, allowing the Crux to traverse crag, trail and town with ease. MEET THE rapid
Perhaps the best all-around mountain shoe we’ve ever made, the Rapid lives at the junction of trail running and approach. This hybrid shoe is equally adept at ticking off trail miles boulder hopping and scrambling moderate slabs. The upper is lightweight and highly breathable but also supportive and protected from abrasion thanks to its welded PU reinforcements. Sock-Fit LW construction – a system to connects the tongue to the upper – is used to keep the tongue from slipping out of place and also provides a precise, secure fit. A dual-density EVA midsole delivers a soft supportive ride similar to a running shoe, but also features a TPU arch insert to increase torsional control and stability. The Vibram Megagrip rubber outsole features an edging zone underneath the big toe for increase friction and climbing capability. The Rapid is the perfect choice for moving fast over mixed mountain terrain.
