With a brand new last, all new components, and a modernized look, these new Maestrale and Gea models redefine the gold standard in alpine touring boots.

MEET THE maestrale rs & gea rs

The Maestrale RS and Gea RS are the perfect blend of performance and backcountry functionality. Completely redesigned from the ground up, this new generation uses state of the art planet-friendly materials and technology to bring you the lightest weight, most powerful version yet. The RS shell combines Carbon Core technology with Grilamid® Bio for increased power without added weight. A Pebax® New cuff also utilizes Carbon Core technology for increased torsional rigidity while also providing 61 degree range of motion for long efficient strides. Our tried-and-true HRS strap keeps your heel planted where is should be and is now easily replaceable in the field. Our super reliable, easy to use Wave Closure system provides a secure, precise fit over the instep for increased control and impulse transmission. A PVC free Booster Step can be cranked tight for when things get serious and features RECCO® Technology for avalanche search ability. The Maestrale RS and Gea RS are for backcountry skiers looking for versatile, uncompromising performance uphill and down.

Maestrale RS and Gea RS:

The stiffer and more powerful versions of our top-selling Maestrale and Gea, the Maestrale RS and Gea RS live at the intersection of freeride performance and backcountry functionality. Carbon Core technology is utilized in the Grilimid® Bio shell and cuff of the RS versions to further enhance power for increased downhill performance.

TECH FEATURES

NEW LAST

A new 102 last provides more performance and comfort. The widest part of the shell is now located further back on the lateral side of the foot, near the “sixth toe” providing more comfort in a critical area while the toe box and heel pocket have been reshaped to provide high increase in downhill performance compared to previous versions of the Maestrale/Gea.

CARBON CORE TECH

Both the regular and RS versions of the Maestrale and Gea now featuring Carbon Core Technology in the shell. This system increases torsional rigidity for high performance on the downhill, while keeping the boot super light for long days in the backcountry. The RS models also feature Carbon Core technology in the cuff for even more performance and power transmission.

WAVE CLOSURE SYSTEM

Our tried and tested Wave Closure system provides the closing force and surface area of two buckles in a super lightweight, 1-buckle system. This micro-adjustable system can accommodate a wide range of foot volumes. It’s easy to use with gloves on in deep snow, has superior resistance to icing up, and can be cranked down for confidence when things get serious.
